Wood terrazzo technology developed by WHOGGER Design is an innovative surface system that combines the character of natural wood with advanced composite material technologies.
Our goal is to develop next-generation surface systems that unite the natural character of wood with an engineering approach and innovative production techniques, distinguished not only by their aesthetics but also by their durability, sustainability and technical performance.
While traditional terrazzo uses marble, granite or mineral-based aggregates, natural wood fragments take centre stage in WHOGGER Design products. This technology offers a new generation of composite structures through the combination of natural materials, polymer engineering and precision surface finishing.
The unique texture and random structure of natural wood give every production run an individual design value beyond the standards of mass production. Through this technology, WHOGGER Design brings material and design together, offering architects and designers new possibilities for expression.

An 18 mm marine plywood base supports the 4 mm terrazzo fill above, giving the finished panel a total thickness of 22 mm.
